Cold Process Soap

For weeks, I have been anticipating making soap with Brittany! Finally the weekend came . . .

Here are few pictures of me having fun! Brittany is a fantastic teacher! We made two batches of soap (dividing the latter at the end to make 2 different kinds) and now I am itching to make more. The only thing stopping me is not having any time to sit down and order my own supplies. I have so many ideas swimming around in my head. I hope I am feeling this confident when I get my supplies and start the process on my own. Yikes!

This is "Edward".

This is "Polynesian Red" with poppy seeds.

The soap at the top of the post is Almond Oatmeal.
It smells unbelievably good!
I cannot wait to make more!
Thank you for the fantastic experience Brittany!

Oooo! That is so awesome. I am sniffing my moniter! How does it feel to use your own soap?? Does it feel nice on your skin?

I have just used some of Brittany's soap (mine has to cure for at least 3 weeks) but I really like it. It smells fantastic, lathers really well and is more moisturizing.
I am currently curing mine in the garage and let me tell you it smells fantastic out there! Who would've thought that my garage smelt better than my house! Jason suggested that I store some in the house to cure. Hmmmmm. . .
